Development of an “Intelligent system for real-time detection, monitoring and analysis of landslides using 4G technologies” – Sys4LAND, based on the innovative use of an integrated triangulation system with wireless sensors located in the field, for real-time detection of possible events in the risk area. As part of the technical solution for data transmission, the equipment used will be adapted to WiMAX technology. Also, within the project, software packages for processing and processing of measured data are developed, in order to identify, monitor and analyze in real time the changes that have occurred.


The impact of the project is represented by the realization of monitoring and warning systems, which help an efficient management in disaster situations. It will also increase the response capacity of the authorities in cases of crisis. For the coordinating company, the impact of the project consists in acquiring new skills and integrating wireless measurement systems in different fields. The final results were also disseminated through two articles published at international conferences. Dissemination will be strengthened through subsequent contacts of research teams with academia.

We consider that the impact of the obtained results is a positive one, it can be marketed for the beneficiaries from the local administration, town halls and county councils, zonal authorities, ISU and Gendarmerie, as well as companies active in the fields of constructions or land improvements. The product can also be useful for transport companies or private landowners.
